We asked Karin to work with Tecasafe® 360+ and develop two modern safety workwear designs that the younger generation of workers all over the world truly want to wear.
About Karin Slegers
Karin Slegers specializes in concept creation and design for corporate fashion. With more than 20 years of experience in corporate fashion and workwear, she boasts a dazzling list of national and international corporate clients in industries including aviation, security, railway, theme parks, healthcare, and beyond. Additionally, Karin has been awarded Corporate Fashion Awards on multiple occasions.
As a passionate professional of fashion, Karin’s innovative and creative approach to design is always grounded in the needs of the client, first and foremost. That’s why she enjoys working closely with wearers, clients, and garment manufacturers throughout the complete design journey – from research to sampling. According to Karin, this way of collaboration results in strong end results and ensures involvement on every level.
Outside of her work with clients, Karin is also a teacher at Summa Fashion College, Eindhoven, where she loves to invest in young students – inspiring them with her perspective on corporate fashion.
The design experience
We are very proud of the designs Karin created for the launch of Tecasafe® 360+. Her work demonstrates that safety wear can look modern and have a more-fitted design without compromising on protection. Especially for the younger generation of workers, it shows that they can feel confident in their workwear, just like they feel when wearing casual wear.
